Internet shuts down Marjorie Taylor Greene as she brags about NW Georgia being 'best place to live'

DALTON, GEORGIA: As 2023 nears its end, the Wall Street Journal has released the latest statistics about Dalton State College in Georgia. According to the article, Dalton State is the Southern college “most highly recommended” by its students.

Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is also a proud representative from Georgia, took the opportunity to brag about Northwest Georgia on X, formerly known as Twitter, as she crowned it “the best place to live.”

As Greene bragged about Northwest Georgia on social media, the internet didn’t agree with her as people quickly shut down her claims about her state.

Marjorie Taylor Greene claims she ‘isn’t surprised’

On X, congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene shared the article by The Wall Street Journal, titled “Dalton State Is the Southern College Most Highly Recommended by Its Students".

Along with the article, Greene wrote, “Students agree — @DaltonState College is the best in the South!!”

She added, “I can’t say I’m surprised, Northwest Georgia leads the country in so many ways, including our world-class education. NW GA is the best place to live, work, learn, and visit!”

Marjorie Taylor Greene faces backlash on X

After Marjorie Taylor Greene shared the recent statistic about Dalton State College while also talking about Northwest Georgia, the internet’s response was prompt as several people resorted to mockery and ridiculed the congresswoman.

One user wrote, “Only someone with a Georgia Education, could proudly say the 30th ranked state for education is ‘World Class’ 🤦🏼‍♂️.”

Another wrote, “I’m not sure how they come to the conclusion can you name the people who’ve been to every place in the country? You ever noticed that it’s always the big cities that get these affirmations of wonderfulness?”

People continued to mock Greene as one user wrote, “That’s debatable Marjorie!” while another wrote, “If you're a product of NW Georgia education they're not doing a very good job!!!🤣.”
