Palace insider disputes Kate Middleton's 'peacemaker' role, says she didn't reach out to Prince Harry
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Kate Middleton, did not reach out to Prince Harry on his 40th birthday, according to a NewsNation report.
In September, certain reports claimed the Princess of Wales reached out to the Duke of Sussex on his birthday, with some going as far as to say that Middleton would meet him in private during his quick trip to London.
Prince Harry's birthday wish from the Palace was generic
However, a palace source disputed such claims, saying, "It’s simply not true."
Speaking of the statement issued by the Palace on Prince Harry’s birthday, the insider shared, "They often do this for major birthdays — for everyone. You’ll notice it wasn’t signed by Catherine, William, the King, or the Queen (Camilla). It was generic."
They also said that the late Queen Elizabeth, who laid out instructions for Harry’s split with the royal family, would be "very disappointed in her grandson… he has disrespected her wishes over and over since she died and refuses to accept that he can’t have round the clock, immediate police protection paid for by the taxpayers any time he wants."
Insider claims the 'problem' is Meghan Markle
The insider added that while Kate Middleton earlier "played peacemaker" between Prince Harry and Prince William, she has since abandoned the role because "Harry spilled tea on Kate alleging she incited him to war a Nazi costume and was rude to his wife, Meghan Markle."
They further claimed that things got more heated as it "was later alleged she and King Charles were the royal racists mentioned in Harry and Meghan’s Oprah Winfrey interview."
The claims gained attention after Prince Harry’s friend Omid Scobie revealed it in his book 'Endgame'. The source remarked, "It wasn’t edited properly in the Netherlands and revealed their names."
The tipster further noted that Prince Harry wants to end their differences and reunite with his family but "the problem is Meghan" who they say is motivated by money and prestige.
"Look how she insists on using her Duchess title on her stationery — and insisted on Prince and Princess for her children. It’s complete hypocrisy. To say you want out of the family but insist on keeping your titles? It’s all about commercialism and money for her." added the palace source.
