Jen Psaki accused of fearmongering as she warns against taking Trump's plans to be a dictator seriously
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: MSNBC host Jen Psaki recently shared her remarks on former President Donald Trump and his appearance at the town hall in Iowa with Fox News anchor Sean Hannity.
Psaki focussed primarily on his comment about being a “dictator” on “day one,” as she also spoke about her own experience working in politics and the government as the former White House Press Secretary.
However, as the MSNBC host shifted her focus on Trump’s “plans” during his possible presidency, the internet didn’t respond too well to Psaki as she faced backlash for the same.

She continued, “Specifically for me, for Barack Obama, and of course, Joe Biden. Obviously, a lot goes into that process. Day one priorities are a reflection of the challenges the country is facing at the time. They are also a reflection of values.”
Psaki then spoke about Barack Obama and Joe Biden, and their priorities when they took over office before she moved on to talk about Trump.
“Obviously Donald Trump has plans to go about governing a little differently,” said Psaki before she played a clip from Trump’s recent town hall in Iowa with Fox News anchor Sean Hannity, where the former President made the infamous “dictator” remark, that has made headlines all across the country.
Psaki continued and focussed on Trump’s “plans to approach the presidency.”
She said, “Being a dictator is not like a light switch you can turn it on and turn it off, nobody that starts as a dictator, typically relinquishes power to somehow reinvent themselves into a legitimate leader. I mean, that’s the point, to hold on to power.”
As Psaki continued her report on Trump, she shared another speech of his from Saturday night where he clarified he said “I want to be a dictator for one day.”
The MSNBC host stated more examples of Trump and how he has “consistently told us what he’s going to do.”
She added, “It is serious, and even more so because of the people who continue to prop him up.”
