VENICE BEACH, CALIFORNIA: Jason Kelce was spotted having some fun with a fan, humorously referencing Taylor Swift’s fame during a recent outing. The playful moment took place while Kelce was filming for his upcoming late-night talk show, ‘They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce’, set to debut on ESPN in January. 

On Friday, November 22, he was seen strolling through Venice Beach, California, with a camera crew in tow, conducting man-on-the-street interviews with random fans. The segment offered a sneak peek into the lively and spontaneous energy of his new show.

But Jason's nod to Taylor Swift quickly led the singer's fans to criticize the retired NFL player for using her fame to attract attention while interviewing fans on the streets.

According to footage obtained by Daily Mail, the 37-year-old star, Jason Kelce was seen filming outtakes in a Los Angeles neighborhood, where he approached and engaged with unsuspecting fans on the street.

During these random interviews, Kelce showcased his comedic side by posing humorous questions or challenges and asking people to sing, hum, or participate in playful activities.

The videos showed Kelce wearing an Eagles poncho and a yellow visor. At one point, he introduced himself to a person by saying, “I’m Taylor Swift’s boyfriend’s brother."

Among the interviewees was a tourist couple visiting from Japan, who appeared completely unaware that they were being quizzed by a famous athlete. Kelce’s entertaining antics on camera had everyone laughing, adding to the fun and spontaneity of the segment.

During his appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' on Thursday, Kelce announced his upcoming hosting gig.

He described the show as a celebration and mentioned that the hour-long program will air on ESPN at 1 am. It will be taped over five consecutive Friday nights, starting January 3, in front of a live studio audience in Philadelphia.

The interview quickly gained attention across various platforms, with many people criticizing retired NFL athlete Jason Kelce for playfully introducing himself as Taylor Swift's brother.

 

One commentator, speaking from Taylor Swift's perspective, urged her to take notice, writing, "Isn’t Taylor just embarrassed by this lot? They are so OBVIOUSLY and SHAMELESSLY using her for money and fame. She built an entire career just to be some gross football player’s groupie and have his entire family and pets make money off her. The complete opposite of what her ex did, who never used her for fame. Wake up Taylor!! They don’t love you, they just want to use you!"

 

Another user accused the Kelce family of riding on Swift's fame, stating, "Taylor swifts boyfriend's family are really riding Taylor's coattails all the way to the bank! without her they would be minor celebrities in the armpit of of America: philly."

 

A user criticized Kelce, saying, "This guy tries way too hard."

Someone else added, "He is really riding Taylor's coattails all the way to the top!" Meanwhile, another commenter simply wrote, "Enough of the Kelces, enough!!!!!!"
