WASHINGTON, DC: Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has expressed her recent thoughts on Congress, along with its 13% approval rating, which Greene believed was “too kind.”

On X, formerly known as Twitter, Greene has expressed her frustration with Congress as she mentioned the debt and “always funding foreign wars,” in her remarks.

As Greene shared her recent remarks, the internet had a field the day with the same, as several people claimed that Greene is the “reason” Congress has “such a low approval.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene highlights ‘putting globalist elites first’

On X, congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote, “Congress has a 13% approval rating.”

She added, “Nearly $34 trillion in debt, always funding foreign wars but never securing our own border, putting globalist elites first and hard working tax paying Americans last, and destroying the value of our dollar and our economy.”

“13% is too kind,” concluded Greene.

This wouldn’t be the first time the congresswoman has taken a dig at Congress, as at the start of November, Greene pointed out “Congress is so broken we can’t even have a normal schedule.”

In the previous statement, she had also mentioned the “debt,” albeit a slightly different number and wrote, “No normal successful company in the United States operates like the failed bodies of congress. And everyone wonders why were $33 trillion in debt, and our country is falling apart on every single level.”

However, as Greene focuses on the approval rating of Congress which stands at 13%, the internet couldn’t help but mock the congresswoman for the same.

Internet brutally mocks Marjorie Taylor Greene on X

After Marjorie Taylor Greene claimed that 13% was “too kind” of an approval rating for Congress, the internet’s response was prompt and backlash quickly mounted against Greene.

One user wrote, “YOU are the reason Congress has such a low approval. You do know that, right Bessie Mae?” and another wrote, “Congress has a 13% approval rating because of people like you.”

“Wait until she finds out she is a member of Congress,” joked one user, and another wrote, “Most of that is because of you.”

Greene continued to face backlash on the social media platform as one user wrote, “Um, you’re in Congress btw. Not that you have accomplished anything,” and another wrote, “Congress has a 13% approval rating because of clowns like you MTG.”
