Internet backs 'The View's Ana Navarro as she applauds Biden's 'class act' amid speech interruption

WASHINGTON, DC: MSNBC recently shared a report on President Joe Biden’s speech in Charleston, South Carolina, interrupted by protesters who called for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Ana Navarro, host of 'The View,' also shared her perspective on the protesters during the President's speech, referencing the report by MSNBC.

In her comments, Navarro praised Biden as a "class act" and criticized the protest, which occurred in a church, as "highly disrespectful and inappropriate."

While expressing her opinions and demonstrating support for Biden on 'The View,' the host found resonance with the sentiment of the internet.

Ana Navarro backs Joe Biden on social media

On X, formerly known as Twitter, ‘The View’ host Ana Navarro shared a clip by MSNBC captioned, “WATCH: Protestors interrupt President Biden's speech calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.”

This clip was from President Joe Biden’s speech in South Carolina where several people screamed “ceasefire,” interrupting Biden’s speech.

As Biden attempted to settle the crowd, the protestors grew louder, before they were escorted outside.

Following this, Biden said, “I understand your passion, and I’ve been quietly working with the Israeli government to reduce and significantly get out of Gaza. I’m using all I can to do that.”

To this video. Navarro responded and wrote on X, “Americans have the right to free speech, the right to protest. But there is something terribly disrespectful and wrong about doing this in a Church, more so, a church where 9 people were killed.”

She also added, “@JoeBiden is a class act.”

Ana Navarro faces backlash on X

Following 'The View' host Ana Navarro's expression of her views on the protest during Joe Biden's speech and her endorsement of the President, the internet swiftly responded.

One user wrote, “He handled it with so much grace and compassion love having an adult in the White House," and another wrote, "President Biden handled this situation with such dignity and grace. I am so proud to call him my President."

"He handled it well and the crowd came to his defense," and another wrote, "So disrespectful .. in a church smh."

The internet continued to weigh in on the matter as one user wrote, "He calmly responds with empathy and honesty. Class act. #BidenHarris2024," and another wrote, "Presidential."
